Ottawa Senators head coach Guy Boucher confirmed that forward Bobby Ryan and defenceman Mark Borowiecki will return for their game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday.
Ryan has been out with a broken finger suffered on Oct. 21 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Borowiecki has been out since Oct. 27 with what Senators general manager Pierre Dorion called a "personal health issue."
Ryan has six assists and no goals through eight games while Borowiecki has one goal and one assist through nine.
The two will be welcome additions to a Senators squad that has been dealing with injury issues all season long, especially in time for their first game against the Penguins since last season's Eastern Conference final.
