Montreal Canadiens defenceman Shea Weber will not play in the team's game against the Nashville Predators on Wednesday due to a lower-body injury.
The former Predators captain currently logs over 26 minutes of ice time per game for the Canadiens and is second on the team in scoring with four goals and nine assists.
Montreal is currently on a four-game losing streak and will look to turn things around with goaltender Antti Niemi getting his first start in a Canadiens' uniform.
