The PS3 will rip over 4GB SACD files. The problem is that it requires dumping to a Fat32 partition or USB drive when it rips. That is where the 4GB limit is.
BUT what the PS3 does in this case is dump an 'up to 4GB' file then append a 2nd file to make up the 'over 4GB' difference. So you get 2 files which you then have to join to get 1 iso. HJSplit is a good tool for doing the joining.
Heathen is one of the biggest SACDs ever made but it does rip on the PS3. :)

I'm currently ripping my collection using a PS3 but have found it to have some limitations. Such as not being able to rip files larger than 4 GB so I am unable to rip large files from 2 record sets on one cd such as "The Allman Bros. - Eat A Peach" or "David Bowie's - Heathen" which is just a huge file, and I'm sure I will run into more as I go.I have currently 50 or so and still adding but have started to rip them and then relist for sale to try and recoup the cost. I have noticed some of you talking about the " Heathen" and "Eat A Peach" SACD's and would be interested in sharing my files in return for a good rip of those files. If there is a place where this can be done I would be very appreciative for the information.Rockpile
