According to TSN's Farhan Lalji, the Montreal Alouettes acquired All-Star offensive lineman Jovan Olafioye from the BC Lions in exchange for the rights to Canadian offensive lineman David Foucault Saturday night.

The Als also get future considerations in the deal, expected to be a negotiation list player still to be determined.

Olafioye, 29, has spent his entire seven-year career with the Lions. The North Carolina Central product has been named a CFL All-Star the past six seasons, a West Division All-Star the past seven seasons, and took home the league's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman award in 2012.

The Alouettes drafted Foucault fifth overall in 2014, but the Montreal Carabins product has never played for the Alouettes. Instead Foucault signed with the NFL's Carolina Panthers, and had been with the team until he was cut prior to last season.

Foucault has one start at the NFL level.
