SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. -- Brennan Menell scored 43 seconds into overtime to lift the Lethbridge Hurricanes to a 5-4 win over the Swift Current Broncos on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Jordy Bellerive had a goal and an assist for Lethbridge (17-11-4) and Brett Davis, Colton Kroeker and Tanner Nagel also scored.

Aleksi Heponiemi and Ryan Graham had a goal and a helper apiece to lead the Broncos (15-10-7), who scored three consecutive goals in the third period to tie the game. Lane Pederson and Colby Sissons had the other goals.

Hurricanes goaltender Ryan Gilchrist made 38 saves. Swift Current's Taz Burman stopped 26 shots.

EDMONTON -- Collin Shirley scored twice, including the winner late in the second period as Kamloops topped the Oil Kings for its fourth straight win.

Erik Miller also scored for the Blazers (18-12-1).

CRANBROOK, B.C. -- Calvin Thurkauf and Jake Kryski each scored two goals and set up two more as Kelowna downed the Ice.

Rodney Southam had a short-handed goal and an assist for the Rockets (19-11-1) and Kole Lind and Leif Mattson also scored.

Troy Murray and Max Patterson had power-play goals for Kootenay (6-19-8). Vince Loschaivo had the other.

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. -- Mason Shaw and Chad Butcher each had two goals and one assist as the Tigers snapped a five-game slide with a victory over Calgary.

John Dahlstrom, Max Gerlach and Ryan Chyzowski also scored for Medicine Hat (22-10-1).

Jakob Stukel, Matteo Gennaro, Justyn Gurney and Andrew Fyten scored for the Hitmen (11-15-2), who saw their three-game win streak come to an end.

MOOSE JAW, Sask. -- Jayden Halbgewachs had a goal and two assists in regulation, then struck with the shootout winner to lift the Warriors over Prince Albert.

Tanner Jeannot scored once and set up another goal for Moose Jaw (18-6-5) and Noah Gregor and Josh Thrower rounded out the offence.

Spencer Moe scored twice and tacked on an assist for the Raiders (6-23-2), who have lost four straight. Carson Miller and Cavin Leth also scored.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Skyler McKenzie scored three goals, including one shorthanded and one on a power play to lead the Winterhawks over Everett.

Keegan Iverson had a goal and three assists and Joachim Blichfeld also scored for Portland (18-13-1). McKenzie tacked on an assist for a four-point night.

Patrick Bajkov and Matt Fonteyne scored for the Silvertips (21-4-5).

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. -- Josh Curtis scored two goals and set up another and Brendan Guhle also found the back of the net twice as the Cougars toppled Seattle.

Brad Morrison and Josh Maser scored the other goals for Prince George (22-8-2) while Jansen Harkins tacked on two assists.

Sami Moilanen had two goals and a helper for the Thunderbirds (16-11-3). Scott Eansor scored one and set up two and Keegan Kolesar rounded out the offence.

Gage Ramsay scored in regulation for the Blades (12-18-2).

Robbie Holmes had the lone goal for Regina (21-2-6), 1:32 into the first period.

CHIEFS 5 GIANTS 2

LANGLEY, B.C. -- Hudson Elynuik scored the go-ahead goal late in the second period en route to Spokane's victory over the Giants.

Taylor Ross and Tyson Helgesen gave the Chiefs (13-11-6) a short lived 2-0 lead. Eli Zummack and Kailer Yamamoto followed Elynuik's goal with ones of their own in the third period to put the game away.

Johnny Wesley and Dylan Plouffe tied the game in the second period for Vancouver (11-18-3).

Spokane's Riley McKay received a game misconduct midway through the third period.

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Tyler Sandhu's second of the game broke a 3-3 tie early in the third period as the Americans edged Victoria.

Sandhu also assisted on Mogan Geekie's two goals for Tri-City (19-11-3).

Jack Walker had a goal and an assist for the Royals (16-14-3). Matthew Phillips and Regan Nagy also scored.
