SENATORS (16-10-2) at DUCKS (14-9-5)
4 p.m. ET; TVA Sports, PRIME, TSN5, NHL.TV
Senators team scope
The Ottawa Senators lost 4-1 at the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday. Trevor Lewis scored on a rebound with two seconds left in the second period to make it 3-1 and Ottawa failed to recover. "I think the biggest deflator was the end of the second period," coach Guy Boucher said. "We've played really good in one-goal games so we just needed to keep it at one." Mike Condon made 15 saves, and will start. Phil Varone will return to the lineup in place of Buddy Robinson.
Ducks team scope
The Anaheim Ducks have won two straight after going 1-1-1 on the road. With forward Rickard Rakell back from a lower-body injury, the bottom two lines have been infused with youth. Nick Ritchie moved down to the third line, and the fourth is now rookies Joseph Cramarossa, Stefan Noesen and Logan Shaw. The play of recent call-ups Noesen, Shaw and Ondrej Kase has been impressive enough to earn them extended time with Anaheim. "With this group that we have now, this a trial and error," coach Randy Carlyle said. "We've moved some people around and moved some people out and we're going to continue to do that until we get a comfort zone with that specific group of players. There's size and there's speed and there's potential for them to create some offense."
