PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Adam Timleck scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period, then added an insurance goal six minutes later as the Peterborough Petes defeated the Mississauga Steelheads 4-2 on Thursday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Tyler Rollo and Zach Gallant had the other goals for Peterborough (11-11-4) and Logan DeNoble tacked on two assists before getting a game misconduct for instigating late in the third period.
Vili Saarijarvi had a goal and a helper for the Steelheads (6-13-6), who have dropped eight straight. Brendan Harrogate also scored.
Petes goaltender Dylan Wells turned aside 43 shots. Mississauga's Matthew Mancina made 26 saves.
