PORTLAND, Ore. — Parker AuCoin scored the go-ahead goal at 11:14 of the third period and Rylan Parenteau made 44 saves as the Tri-City Americans came from behind to defeat the Portland Winterhawks 3-2 on Sunday in Western Hockey League action.

Kyle Olson and Michael Rasmussen also scored as the Americans (12-6-1) erased a 2-0 deficit to win their fourth game in a row.

Jake Gricius and Ryan Hughes had first-period goals for the Winterhawks (8-11-0), who are on an eight-game slide.

Parenteau was beaten twice early, but stopped all 37 shots his way over the final 40 minutes to help his team complete the comeback.

Cole Kehler turned away 28-of-31 shots in a losing cause.

Tri-City went 1 for 3 on the power play while Portland failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
