The Ottawa Senators have returned defenceman Thomas Chabot to his junior team, the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL.

The 18th overall draft pick in the 2015 Draft played in just one game for the Senators this year, registering no points and a minus-2 rating.

In 47 games for the Sea Dogs last year, Chabot had 11 goals and 45 points.
