The Ottawa Senators announced on Wednesday that they have called up forward Mike Blunden from the the Binghamton Senators.
The 29-year-old has 124 games of NHL experience and has registered seven goals, six assists and 141 penalty minutes.
In the AHL, Blunden has played all nine games for Binghamton this season and has scored three goals, added an assist and collected 14 penalty minutes. His four points are tied for second most on the team.
He signed with the Senators on July 1 for two years worth $1.475 million.
Throughout his career he has made appearances for the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Montreal Canadiens, the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the Chicago Blackhawks.
