BC Lions receiver Manny Arceneaux appears on track to play in the Western Final Sunday, with head coach Wally Buono optimistic he will be active.

Arceneaux has been symptom free for the past two days and has passed all of the concussion baseline tests after being knocked out of the Lions' Western Semi-Final win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The next step for Arceneaux is beginning activity Wednesday before increasing his activity level Thursday. Arceneaux is targeting practicing on Friday. Lions head coach Wally Buono said he is okay if Arceneaux can't practice till Friday but will need one full practice to play on Sunday.

Arceneaux also suffered an ankle injury against the Blue Bombers. X-rays on the ankle were negative and it isn't expected to be an issue for Sunday.

In other Lions' injury news, Shawn Gore is expected to practice Wednesday. Gore has been symptom free for more than a week and began activity over the weekend. Gore is hoping to get final clearance from team doctors Wednesday.
