Impending free agent forward Milan Lucic is expected to sign with the Edmonton Oilers on July 1 when players can officially sign with teams, a source tells Sportsnet's Gene Principe.

Lucic denied the report later on Tuesday.

Lucic, 28, was spotted touring Rogers Place on Tuesday.

The left-winger scored 20 goals and 35 assists in 81 games last season for the Los Angeles Kings.
