The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed veteran wide receiver LaVon Brazill on Saturday.

The 27-year-old spent last stint in the CFL came with the Toronto Argonauts in 2014.

Brazill's professional career began when he was drafted in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.

He played in 25 games over two seasons with the Colts, recording 23 receptions for 347 yards and three touchdowns.

He received a one-year suspension from the NFL in July 2014 for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Also on Saturday, the Bombers released defensive end Justin Cole.
