TORONTO - Toronto FC captain Michael Bradley has been fined by MLS for his role in an incident during a 1-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City on March 20.

Bradley was irate when teammate Benoit Cheyrou, caught in a two-man tackle, went down near the sideline and Kansas City's Brad Davis played on rather than put the ball out of bounds so the Toronto midfielder could receive treatment.

Bradley eventually won the ball back and booted it into touch before racing across the field to express his displeasure at Davis.

MLS dubbed the 54th-minute incident a mass confrontation, found Toronto in violation of league policy and issued the club a warning for a first offence of the season.

The league did not announce the amount of Bradley's fine.
