BLUE JACKETS (31-40-8) at MAPLE LEAFS (28-40-11)

TV: 7 p.m. ET; SNE, SNO, FS-O, NHL.TV

Season series: The Columbus Blue Jackets and Toronto Maple Leafs have split two games. Leo Komarov scored two late goals and Daniel Winnik had three assists in a 6-3 win that gave Mike Babcock his first victory as Maple Leafs coach on Oct. 16. Rookie goalie Joonas Korpisalo made 41 saves to help the Blue Jackets end a four-game losing streak with a 3-1 win on Jan. 13. Seth Jones' assist on Boone Jenner's goal was his first point for Columbus since he was acquired from the Nashville Predators for Ryan Johansen on Jan. 6.

Blue Jackets team scope: Columbus assigned left wing Sonny Milano to Lake Erie of the American Hockey League on Tuesday. Milano, the 16th pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, had one assist in his first three NHL games. Defenseman Justin Falk and right wing Josh Anderson were recalled on an emergency basis. Falk likely will play for Cody Goloubef, who left a 3-2 loss to the New York Rangers on Monday with an oblique injury. Coach John Tortorella did not announce his starting goalie; Sergei Bobrovksy was a healthy scratch in favor of Korpisalo on Tuesday. Veteran forward Scott Hartnell was also scratched; he has one goal and is a minus-10 in his past 13 games. Center Gregory Campbell played in his 800th NHL game Tuesday.

Maple Leafs team scope: Toronto has lost three straight and five of its past six, and will be without forward Nazem Kadri for the rest of the season. Kadri is serving a four-game suspension for cross-checking Detroit Red Wings center Luke Glendening on Saturday but practiced with Maple Leafs defensemen on Tuesday. "It's obviously disappointing," Kadri told TSN. "Obviously, I play on the edge. I like to play that style, but I didn't really know what to expect. I didn't intend to hit him in the face, but, like I said, I play with that edge and sometimes those kind of things happen." Goalie Garret Sparks will start for the Maple Leafs. Forwards Komarov (lower body) and Peter Holland (upper body) practiced but did not skate with lines and aren't expected to play.
