GATINEAU, Que. - Mathieu Bellemare stopped all 18 shots he faced as the Gatineau Olympiques shut out the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 3-0 on Wednesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Gabryel Paquin-Boudreau scored twice — including once on the power play — to lead Gatineau's (40-16-3) offence. Alexandre Carrier had the other goal for the Olympiques.

Alexandre Belanger made 26 saves for the Screaming Eagles (31-23-6).

Gatineau went 1 for 6 on the power play and Cape Breton was 0 for 2 with the man advantage.
