JETS (26-30-4) at PENGUINS (30-21-8)

TV: 3 p.m. ET; SN, ROOT, NHL.TV

Season series: The Winnipeg Jets defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0 at MTS Centre on Dec. 27. Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, who has since been assigned to Manitoba of the American Hockey League, made 30 saves. Forward Bryan Little, who is out for the season with a back injury, scored the only goal.

Jets team scope: Forward Marko Dano is expected to be in the lineup after being acquired Thursday from the Chicago Blackhawks in a multiplayer trade. He skated on a line with Joel Armia and Adam Lowry on Friday, according to the Jets website. "We'll get him in the game, and absolutely not draw any conclusions from the game," coach Paul Maurice said. Goaltender Michael Hutchinson will make his second consecutive start. Defenseman Tyler Myers and forward Mathieu Perreault did not practice, but they will play. A stretch of eight of 10 games on the road ends.

Penguins team scope: Center Evgeni Malkin will return after missing 10 games because of a lower-body injury. "Everything is good," Malkin said, according to the Penguins website. "[Friday] was a hard skate, but I'm ready to play. I'm ready to show my best." Center Nick Bonino will also be in the lineup after missing 17 games because of a hand injury. Coach Mike Sullivan said forward Tom Kuhnhackl (lower body) will be a game-time decision. Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has started 12 of the past 14 games, but Sullivan has not confirmed whether he or Jeff Zatkoff will start.
