CHICOUTIMI, Que. - Nicolas Roy had a pair of goals as the Chicoutimi Sagueneens handed the Baie-Comeau Drakkar their 14th straight loss with a 3-1 victory on Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Roy opened the scoring 4:47 into the game on the power play and then added an insurance goal midway through the third period.
Antoine Marcoux scored in the second period for the Sagueneens (19-17-4), who got a 22-save outing from Xavier Potvin.
Vincent Deslauriers was the lone scorer for the Drakkar (5-29-3), who sit in last place in the QMJHL.
Baie-Comeau's Antoine Samuel kicked out 35-of-38 shots in a losing cause.
Chicoutimi went 1 for 3 on the power play and didn't give the Drakkar a chance to play with the man advantage.
