Season series: Michael Grabner had two goals and two assists, Leo Komarov had two goals and one assist and Jonathan Bernier made 26 saves in the Toronto Maple Leafs' 5-0 win against the Los Angeles Kings on Nov. 19 at Air Canada Centre. Kings goalie Jhonas Enroth allowed five goals on 34 shots.

Maple Leafs team scope: Toronto will play the second of its three-game trip to California on Thursday; the Maple Leafs opened it with a 4-0 win at the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday. After the victory, coach Mike Babcock said goalie James Reimer will start Thursday if he's physically ready; Reimer hasn't started since Dec. 3 because of a groin injury. Jonathan Bernier made 39 saves Wednesday and has started each of the Maple Leafs' past eight games (6-2-0). "It was a good way to start the road trip," Babcock said. "Obviously we've got a tough back-to-back with L.A. waiting for us [Thursday]."

Kings team scope: Los Angeles will have a different look after it acquired forward Vincent Lecavalier and defenseman Luke Schenn from the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday. "We've lost a physical element there that I think is showing up," Kings general manager Dean Lombardi said. "We see a lot of Matt Greene in Luke … it's a chance for him to come in here and be himself and not have the pressure of being the top guy." Thursday marks the beginning of a four-game homestand; the Kings are 12-6-0 at Staples Center this season. Defenseman Derek Forbort was reassigned to Ontario of the American Hockey League on Wednesday to make room for Schenn on the roster.
