SENATORS (14-7-5) at RANGERS (17-7-3)

TV: TVA Sports, TSN5, MSG

Season series: The New York Rangers defeated the Ottawa Senators 2-1 in a shootout at Canadian Tire Centre on Nov. 14. Rangers defenseman Dan Boyle had the deciding goal in the tiebreaker against Craig Anderson, who made 33 saves for Ottawa. New York's Chris Kreider and Ottawa's Erik Karlsson had first-period power-play goals.

Senators team scope: Ottawa begins a four-game road trip after a 3-2 overtime win against the New York Islanders on Saturday, but the Senators may have to play without center Kyle Turris, who sustained a leg injury late in regulation and didn't return. The Senators said x-rays showed no broken bones, but coach Dave Cameron had no other update. With backup Andrew Hammond still sidelined, goalie Craig Anderson is likely to make his 11th consecutive start after finishing with 29 saves against the Islanders and enabling the Senators to rally from a 2-0 deficit midway through the third period. "We stuck with it," said Karlsson, who scored the overtime winner, "and even though things weren't going our way at all times, we did the small things we needed to do to be successful."

Rangers team scope: New York goalie Henrik Lundqvist will start Sunday after Antti Raanta made 16 saves in a 2-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday that left the Rangers with a 1-4-1 record in their past six games. Coach Alain Vigneault juggled his lines at practice Saturday, moving Oscar Lindberg into the middle of the second line between Kreider and Rick Nash. However, Vigneault said he might make some adjustments after watching the Senators-Islanders game Saturday night. "If we do decide to go this route, those are a couple of pretty good players that might be a good fit for him," Vigneault told the Rangers website. With a three-game trip to Western Canada coming this week, Vigneault said the Rangers might add a player, likely a defensemen, before their next game at the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday.
