The B.C.Lions have been granted permission to speak to Edmonton Eskimos quarterback coach Jarious Jackson about the team's vacant offensive coordinator position.
According to TSN CFL reporter Farhan Lalji, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have asked for permission to speak to Jackson as well.
Jackson's contract will expire at the end of December. He has been with the Esks since 2014.
George Cortez, the Lions' offensive coordinator, informed the team at the end of the season that he would be retiring.
