TORONTO - Toronto FC forward Sebastian Giovinco is up against Columbus Crew SC striker Kei Kamara and Sporting Kansas City midfielder Benny Feilhaber for the Landon Donovan MLS Most Valuable Player award.

The finalists earned the most votes among MLS players, club officials and media who cover the league. The winner will be announced Dec. 2.

Giovinco is also up for newcomer of the year, against Montreal's Didier Drogba and Mike Grella of the New York Red Bulls.

The 28-year-old Italian international, who left Juventus for MLS, won the Audi Golden Boot after tying Kamara with 22 goals and leading MLS with 16 assists. The five-foot-four forward known as the Atomic Ant is the first MLS player to exceed 20 goals and 10 assists in the same season.

Kamara, a Sierra Leone international, had 22 goals and eight assists as he returned to MLS after two years in England. Kamara, who set a club record with seven game-winning goals, is also a finalist for the league's Humanitarian of the Year, along with Jeb Brovsky of New York City FC and Seattle's Brad Evans.

Feilhaber had a career-high 10 goals and 15 assists, becoming one of only four players to record double-digit goals and assists.

Vancouver is also well represented among the award finalists.

The Whitecaps' Carl Robinson is up against Jesse Marsch of the New York Red Bulls and Oscar Pareja of FC Dallas for MLS Coach of the Year. Vancouver's David Ousted in a finalist for goalkeeper of the year with Bill Hamid of D.C. United and New York's Luis Robles while Kendall Waston of the Whitecaps is up against Laurent Ciman of the Montreal Impact and Matt Hedges of FC Dallas for top defender.

Canadian Cyle Larin is a leading contender for rookie of the year, with Fatai Alashe of the San Jose Earthquakes and Matt Polster of the Chicago Fire also nominated.

The AT&T Goal of the Year and MLS Save of the Year will be decided by voting at MLSsoccer.com from now through Dec. 2.
