{allcanada} Maple Leafs goalie Bernier day-to-day with injury

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Jonathan Bernier is day-to-day, coach Mike Babcock said Tuesday, and goaltender Antoine Bibeau was recalled from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

Babcock didn't specify the nature of the injury to Bernier, who backed up James Reimer in a 4-1 win against the Dallas Stars on Monday. It was originally thought Bernier would make his third straight start, but Babcock said prior to the game that Bernier got bumped in a 4-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday and wasn't feeling well.

Bernier is 0-6-1 in seven appearances with a 3.02 goals-against average and .899 save percentage.

Bibeau, 21, is 5-1-0 record with a 2.17 GAA and .908 save percentage in six appearances with the Marlies. He was a sixth-round pick (No. 172) in the 2013 NHL Draft.
