MONTREAL - Dominic Oduro and Marco Donadel scored in the opening eight minutes as the Montreal Impact ended the Columbus Crew's four-game unbeaten run with a 3-0 victory on Saturday night.

Oduro added another goal late in the match Montreal (6-7-3), which stopped a three-game winless streak while sweeping its two-game season series from the Crew (6-7-6).

Rebounding from a home loss to New York City in which they wasted several chances, the Impact scored on two of its first three opportunities.

Ignacio Piatti dribbled up the middle and pushed the ball forward to Oduro, who stepped around goalie Steve Clark to score in the fifth minute.

Clark made a save from close range on Piatti, but the Argentine played the ensuring corner kick quickly to Calum Mallace, who fed Donadel for a shot from outside the area that looked to change direction twice in midair and catch the top corner in the eighth minute.

The Crew had a chance in the 25th, but goalkeeper Evan Bush just beat Ethan Finlay to a ball played through the defence from Federico Higuain.

The Impact were content to play for counterattacks in the second half and the Crew nearly made them pay as Tony Tchani forced a leaping save from Bush in the 59th and Justin Meram ripped one off the bar in the 61st. Then Finlay, who ended a four-game points streak, was stopped in alone by Bush in the 65th.

Oduro sealed the win for the crowd of 15,304 at Saputo Stadium with his second of the game and fourth of the season. Oduro pushed the ball in after Clark was unable to hold onto a low shot from Dilly Duka in the 80th.

The Crew's last defeat was at home to Montreal on June 6, the Impact's lone away win this season.

The Impact travel to Kansas City next Saturday while the Crew next play in Chicago on Wednesday.
