
TORONTO — Jasmin Glaesser won gold in the women's cycling road race on Saturday at the Pan American Games.
The Vancouver cyclist beat Cuba's Marlies Mejias in a sprint to the finish. Glaesser finished in two hours 7 minutes 17 seconds. It's her fourth cycling medal of the Games. She won at the track in the team pursuit and silver in the omnium. Glaesser also won silver in the road time trial.
Allison Beveridge took bronze in the road race. She was 34 seconds back of her teammate.
