Netflix's Canadian thriller Between has been renewed for a second season. Star Jennette McCurdy tweeted the news today.
The survivalist thriller series was created by Canadian writer/director Michael McGowan (Still Mine). It tells the story of a town under siege from a mysterious disease that has wiped out everybody except those 21 years old and under and chronicles the power vacuum that results when a government has quarantined a 10-mile diameter area and left the inhabitants to fend for themselves.
McGowan executive produces along with Don Carmody (Resident Evil), David Cormican (The Tall Man), and Naveen Prasad. The series is produced by Don Carmody Television, Mulmur Feed Co. and in association with Elevation Pictures Corp.
