New York, NY - Toronto FC attacker Sebastian Giovinco was named MLS Player of the Week on Tuesday for the 13th week of the 2015 season.

Giovinco, the former Juventus star, did not score in TFC's 3-1 win over San Jose last week, but set up two goals and struck the post with an attempt, leading TFC to three points.

Giovinco set up Justin Morrow's 22nd-minute opener with a terrific cross which allowed the defender to score via diving header. He then turned provider once more, with a nifty pass on Luke Moore's insurance tally in the 71st minute.

The MLS Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by a panel of journalists from the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR). The group consists of members of print, television, radio and online media.
