TORONTO - Prince and his all-female band 3rdeyegirl, featuring Mississauga guitarist Donna Grantis, will play Toronto's Sony Centre on Tuesday, May 19 as part of The Purple One's HitnRun tour in North America.

The T.O. stop is the fourth date of the tour with Prince most recently playing on Mother's Day at the Rally 4 Peace show to a sold-out audience at Baltimore's Royal Farms Arena following the violence in the city and throughout the U.S.
Just last November, Prince fans in Toronto were left disappointed when rumours of a show at Massey Hall failed to materialize after they lined up around the block hoping to buy tickets.
At the time, both LiveNation and Prince said it was nothing more than "a production rehearsal" for "possible future performances."
Looks like T.O. has one now.
