MONTREAL – Montreal Canadiens center David Desharnais will miss Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday because of the flu.
Desharnais was replaced by center Brian Flynn, who has not played since Game 5 of the Canadiens first-round series against the Ottawa Senators on April 24.
In seven games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Desharnais has no goals, two assists and a minus-2 rating.
Flynn had a goal and two assists in Game 1 against the Senators, but went without a point and was a minus-3 in his next four games.
The Lightning lead the best-of-7 series 1-0.
