WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed offensive lineman Sukh Chungh a day after he was taken second overall in the 2015 CFL draft.

The six-foot-four 305-pound native of Port Coquitlam, B.C., has spent the past five seasons with the University of Calgary Dinos.

He appeared in seven games in 2014 and was named both a Canada West All-Star and a CIS All-Canadian.

"This has been an amazing 24-48 hours for me and my family," said Chungh in a statement. "I am so grateful to not only be taken second overall, but now have an agreement in place and look forward to coming to camp. I can't wait to get there and get going."
