Season series: The Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators have split four games this season. Toronto rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period to defeat the Senators in overtime on March 28. Tyler Bozak scored three goals in the third period and assisted on Eric Brewer's overtime winner.

Senators team scope: Ottawa averted what could have been a disaster Saturday when Kyle Turris scored in overtime for a 4-3 victory against the Washington Capitals, a game the Senators were unable to win in regulation despite leading 3-0 in the second period. The victory kept the Senators within three points of third place in the Atlantic Division and the two wild cards into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Eastern Conference. "We battled and got the points we needed," Turris said. "We've just got to worry about ourselves." Andrew Hammond made 29 saves and is 17-1-1 in the NHL. He might get the start in the second of back-to-back games; Craig Anderson was in goal for the OT loss at Toronto on March 28.

Maple Leafs team scope: Expect Jonathan Bernier to get the start in goal after James Reimer stopped 49 shots in a 2-1 shootout loss at the Boston Bruins on Saturday. James van Riemsdyk had the only goal for Toronto. Coach Peter Horachek dressed a youth-filled lineup but was happy with the effort he saw. "There's been a number of games where we wanted that effort and wanted that attitude and consistency," Horachek said. "Tonight the guys tried to put it on the line against a pretty good team." Forward Peter Holland (lower body) is expected to return; he made the trip to Boston but did not dress, and the Maple Leafs lost forward Trevor Smith early in the game because of an upper-body injury.
