{allcanada} Joni Mitchell Remains Hospitalized

It's been three days since paramedics were called to Joni Mitchell's Los Angeles home after the singer was found unconscious, but she is still hospitalized.

"Joni remains under observation in the hospital and is resting comfortably," her team wrote in a statement Friday on the 71-year-old's official website and Twitter. "Her progress is encouraging as she continues to improve each day."

Mitchell was rushed to an L.A. hospital on Tuesday and moved into intensive care, where she was "awake and in good spirits," according to an update later that night.

The Canadian singer, who's best known for hits like "Woodstock," "Both Sides, Now" and "Big Yellow Taxi," previously stated that she was suffering from Morgellons disease.
