Toronto Raptors all-star point guard Kyle Lowry is expected to sit out tonight's contest against the Philadelphia 76ers and could miss time beyond tonight's game.

Lowry had been playing through a variety of nagging injuries and said Monday that he'd probably continue to play if it were up to him but respects the team's decision to give him time to rest.

Head coach Dwane Casey said there's no timetable for his return.
