After sitting for three games to nurse nagging injuries, Kyle Lowry is getting closer to returning to the lineup for the Toronto Raptors.

While the team didn't have a formal practice on Thursday, Lowry worked out on his own and said he's making progress.

He is expected to travel with the team for the upcoming three-game road trip and could play Friday against the Hornets in Charlotte.

Lowry has been out since playing 19 minutes against the Golden State Warriors on February 27.
