The Toronto Argonauts saw three players leave on the first day of free agency, but managed to keep a couple of their own as well.

Running back Curtis Steele and linebacker Herve Tonye-Tonye have signed new deals with the Double Blue.

In his second season with the Argos, Steele had 87 carries for 541 yards and four touchdowns. The 27-year-old also had 309 receiving yards and one touchdown catch.

The 26-year-old Tonye-Tonye had eight tackles and five special teams tackles in his first year with the Argos last season.
