
Jacqueline Harrison, Julie Hastings and Sherry Middaugh remained perfect at the Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts Tuesday as the three rinks are tied for first with identical 3-0 records.
The winner of the Ontario Scotties will represent the province at the national championship next month in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
Harrison defeated Megan Balsdon 7-3 in the afternoon draw and then edged Danielle Inglis 6-5 in the evening.
Middaugh took care of Clancy Grandy 9-2 in the first draw of the day and beat Shannon Kee 11-5 in the second.
Hastings routed Kee 12-1 and Rhonda Varnes 6-4 on Tuesday.
Allison Flaxey of Listowel and last year's provincial champ has a 2-1 record after the second day of competition. She won both of her games Tuesday, 7-4 over Romain Caitlin abd 8-3 over Balsdon, after dropping her first game on Monday.
The top four rinks after the round robin will compete in a page playoff this weekend to determine the winner.
