{allcanada} Report: Leafs prospect Nylander injured in Sweden

Toronto Maple Leafs' 2014 first-round draft pick William Nylander appears to have been injured in a game in Sweden on Saturday according to Uffe Bodin, editor-in-chief of hockeysverige.se.

Nylander, 18, was accidentally hit in the head by a skate in a game against Skellefteå AIK. Bodin says Nylander may have suffered a concussion.

Nylander is playing with the Swedish Hockey League's MODO, where, according to hockeyDB.com, he is second in team scoring with 14 points through 12 games.

The eight-overall selection had an impressive training camp with the Maple Leafs in the fall, but didn't fit into the team's plans this season.

Nylander would be a key component for Sweden at the upcoming 2015 IIHF World Junior Championships in Montreal and Toronto.

Countries do not need to finalize their rosters until Christmas Day.
