Despite suffering a groin strain on Friday, Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan is scheduled to join the team for their flight to Los Angeles on Saturday.

Raptors head coach Dwane Casey said doctors will meet to discuss how they want to treat the injury and the team should know more later Saturday.

DeRozan's left leg slipped as he drove to the basket, causing him to stumble to the floor with obvious signs of pain. He slowly left the floor on his own power.

The Raptors face the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.
