On the same day the Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced a major addition to their defensive line, they are reporting a major loss as well.

According to a report from the Hamilton Spectator, the Ticats announced national DT Brian Bulcke has a torn bicep that requires surgery, and he'll be out for the rest of the year.

In his second year with the Ticats, Bulcke had 17 tackles and two sacks.

The Ticats use a lot of nationals on their defensive line and will need Ted Laurent, who also missed practice Wednesday and will be a game-time decision according to the Spectator, and last year's No. 1 overall pick Linden Gaydosh to step in.
