Samuel Blais scored twice on the power play - including the winner at 15:29 of the third period - as the Victoriaville Tigres edged the host Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 4-3 on Friday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Yan Pavel Laplante had a goal and an assist for the Tigres (4-1-1) and Antoine Marcoux added a single goal.

Mathieu Boucher, Ryan Penny and Julien Natel supplied the scoring for the Huskies (2-4-0).

Victoriaville's Chase Marchand made 33 saves for the win while Samuel Harvey kicked out 31-of-35 shots for Rouyn-Noranda.

ISLANDERS 4 TITAN 3

CHARLOTTETOWN — Kameron Kielly and Alexandre Goulet each had a goal and an assist as the Islanders handed Acadie-Bathurst its fifth loss in a row.

Bradley Kennedy and Filip Chlapik also scored for Charlottetown (4-1-1) while Mason McDonald made 30 saves for the win.

Mark Simpson had a pair of goals for the Titan (1-5-0), while Juraj Mily scored once. Alexandre Lagace kicked out 20-of-24 shots.

MOOSEHEADS 6 SAGUEENS 4

HALIFAX — Philippe Gadoury had two goals and two assists and Zachary Fucale stopped 27 shots as the Mooseheads toppled Chicoutimi.

Halifax (2-2-1) also got goals from Vincent Watt, Ryan Falkenham and Timo Meier.

Alexandre Ranger had three goals and an assist for the Sagueneens (1-4-0) while Laurent Dauphin scored once and assisted on all three of Ranger's goals.

Chicoutimi's Julio Billia allowed three goals on five shots in 10:25 of action before giving way to Storm Phaenuf, who stopped 13-of-16 shots in relief.

PHOENIX 4 DRAKKAR 3 (SO)

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Kay Schweri and Tim Wieser scored in a shootout to lift the Phoenix over Baie-Comeau.

Julien Bahl, Vincent Desluariers and Wieser scored in regulation for Sherbrooke (4-1-0) and Evan Fitzpatrick made 25 saves for the victory.

Luca Ciampini scored once for the Drakkar (2-2-1) and set up goals by Frederic Gamelin and Bokondji Imama. Phillipe Cadorette turned away 31 shots in a losing cause.

BOISBRIAND, Que. — Nikita Jevpalovs scored twice and Samuel Montembault stopped 31 shots as the Armada downed Cape Breton for their first win of the season.

Nathanael Halbert and Marcus Hinds each had a goal and an assist for Blainville-Boisbriand (1-3-1) while Fabrizio Ricci, Philippe Sanche and Danick Martel added a goal apiece.

Julien Pelletier had a pair of goals for the Screaming Eagles (3-2-1) and Jeremie Beaudin, Jonathan Deschamps and Evgeny Svechnikov each scored once.

Cape Breton's Miguel Sullivan allowed five goals on 18 shots in 40 minutes of play. Francois Brassard stopped 5-of-7 shots in a period of relief.

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Christopher Clapperton had three goals and two assists as the Oceanic defeated Drummondville.

Alexis Loiseau scored twice and had an assist for Rimouski (4-1-0) while Vincent Dunn chipped in with a goal and an assist. Philippe Desrosiers made 18 saves for the win.

Marc-Antoine Bouillon, Christophe Lalancette, Joey Ratelle and Dylan Montcalm scored for the Voltigeurs (3-2-0) while Louis-Philip Guindon stopped 30 shots in a losing cause.

SHAWINIGAN, Que. — Anthony Beauvillier had two goals and an assist and Marvin Cupper made 26 saves as the Cataractes beat Quebec City.

James Phelan, Evan Scott and Olivier Caouette also scored for Shawinigan (4-0-1).

Cody Donaghey ended Cupper's shutout bid at 16:02 of the third period. Callum Booth gave up four goals on 17 shots for the Remparts (2-3-0) before being replaced by Eric Brassard, who made 22 saves in 25:32 of action.
