OSHAWA, Ont. - Sam Harding scored three goals — including one on the power play and another shorthanded — and Ken Appleby stopped 30 shots as the Oshawa Generals blanked the visiting Sudbury Wolves 4-0 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Hunter Smith also scored for the Generals (2-0-1) while Chris Carlisle tacked on two assists.

Troy Timpano kicked out 38-of-42 shots for the Wolves (1-2-0).

Oshawa went 2 for 3 on the power play while Sudbury failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.

WINDSOR, Ont. — Justin Nichols made 28 saves and Matthew Hotchkiss scored the eventual winner at 12:18 of the third period as Guelph edged the Spitfires.

Ben Harpur also scored for the Storm (1-1-0) 1:26 into the second period on the power play to tie the game 1-1.

Logan Brown gave Windsor (0-2-0) an early lead with a power-play goal at 17:53 of the first. Alex Fotinos stopped 32-of-34 shots in defeat.
