Just because we we're itching to get The Vampire Diaries spoilers scoop from the show's star Nina Dobrev at today's CW Upfronts, doesn't mean we overlooked her major hair change..

The actress debuted a new blond ombré hair color at the New York City event on Thursday. This is a huge change for the 25-year-old, who up until now has always stayed loyal to her signature long brunette locks. Plus, everyone knows ombre is the gateway to going all the way Goldilocks.

On the red carpet Dobrev opted for an embellished Alberta Ferretti jacket with matching black skirt. Her golden Christian Louboutin pumps matched the ends of her newly dyed locks.

Although The Vampire Diaries wraps up it's fifth season tonight, we'll be seeing a lot more of Nina in the coming months as she promotes her summer comedy Let's Be Cops with Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr.
