Linebacker Aaron Maybin is calling it quits in the CFL. The Toronto Argonauts announced the decision on Tuesday.
Maybin, selected 11th overall in the 2009 NFL draft by the Buffalo Bills, played in two games for the Argonauts last season, including the East final.
The Penn State product had five tackles and one sack in Toronto's playoff loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Maybin spent four seasons in the NFL, playing with the Bills and New York Jets. Maybin recorded 36 career tackles and six sacks in 48 NFL games.
He was cut by the Cincinnati Bengals prior to the 2013 season.
The Argonauts also announced Tuesday that import lineman Jeremy Lewis signed with the team.
