{allcanada} Paulina Gretzky Reveals What Her Dad, Wayne, Has in Common With Her Fiancé

Paulina Gretzky hasn't always done things that make her father, ice hockey great Wayne, smile – remember the bikini pic scandal? – but the Hall of Famer was happy when she got engaged to PGA star Dustin Johnson in August.

"My dad loves playing golf, so it's certainly a plus," says the 24-year-old, who's featured on the cover of the December issue of Maxim magazine (out Nov. 19).

The party girl incurred the Canadian hockey star's wrath after posting one too many sexy bikini pics of herself on her Twitter account back in 2011.

But the aspiring model and actress still doesn't understand what all the fuss was about.

"Some people gave me such a hard time for posting all these swimsuit pics on Twitter," she admits. "I'm sorry, I'm not posting pictures when I'm reading a book. I feel like social media is supposed to be for fun, to share what you're doing when you're enjoying life."
