{allcanada} CANADIENS TO USE GALCHENYUK AT CENTRE

The Montreal Gazette illustrates how Canadiens coach Michel Therrien turned to Alex Galchenyuk in the third period of Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, putting him as a centre between Max Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher. They failed to score, but Therrien liked what he saw and will use Galchenyuk as a pivot Tuesday against the St. Louis Blues.

"The positive (in this game) is the adjustment we made with Galchenyuk playing centre with Pacioretty and Gallagher," Therrien said. "It's something we've been thinking about and we decided to do it in the third period and I was really pleased. This is an experiment that we're going to repeat again."
