Montreal Canadiens forwards Daniel Briere skated Monday for the first time since he sustained a concussion during a game Oct. 19 against the Nashville Predators.
While he is skating, there remains no timetable for him to return to the lineup.
Briere was hurt when he collided with the Predators' Eric Nystrom. Prior to his injury, he had a goal and two assists in eight games.
Also on the ice Monday was Canadiens forward Brandon Prust, who injured his shoulder the same night Briere was hurt. Prust was expected to miss four weeks. Like Briere, there is no date set for him to play again.
Prior to being injured, Prust had two goals and an assist in eight games.
