The Ottawa Sun notes 22-year-old Sens rookie Jakob Silfverberg, asked how he can increase his point production going forward, the Swede had all the right answers.
"You've got to drive the net hard," he said. "That's one thing I'm trying to learn every day, and I'm still not satisfied with it. You've got to be able to be tougher, go to the net, go through some guys. Just be hard around the net."
Is a 20-goal season within his grasp next year?
"I don't like to set up goals like that," said Silfverberg. "What I usually say is I want to be a better hockey player than I was last year. What that means, I can't say that for sure. If I score 20 goals that would make me very happy. But I want to help the team win hockey games. If that's scoring 20 goals or blocking 100 shots, I can't tell that right now, we'll have to see."
