HALIFAX -- Matthew Boudreau had a goal and two assists as the Halifax Mooseheads beat the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 4-3 on Saturday to grab a 2-0 lead in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League final.

It was the 14th consecutive win of the playoffs for the Canadian Hockey League's top-ranked team.

Halifax fans chanted "We want the Cup, we want the Cup" in what could be the team's last home game of the season. If the team sweeps its fourth straight series of the playoffs, they'll head to the Memorial Cup in Saskatoon from May 17-26.

The Mooseheads' three overagers led the way Saturday night as Baie-Comeau kept Halifax's big guns -- Jonathan Drouin and Nathan MacKinnon -- in check for the second straight game.

Stephen MacAulay and Konrad Abeltshauser scored first-period goals for the Mooseheads while Stefan Fournier added a second-period power-play marker.

MacAulay and Fournier also got into fights while sticking up for teammates when things got a little chippy.

Drakkar winger Valentin Zykov broke Zachary Fucale's shutout bid at 16:37 of the second period to give his team some hope.

Boudreau scored a back-breaker goal and restored Halifax's three-goal lead with just six seconds lefts in the second period.

Drakkar coach Eric Veilleux pulled his goalie with three minutes left and the move almost paid off as Baie-Comeau scored two late goals by Carl Gelinas and Petr Straka.

The series heads to Baie-Comeau for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
