The B.C. Lions have signed University of Calgary offensive lineman Kirby Fabien.
The 6'6, 305-pound blocker was selected seventh overall in the 2012 CFL Draft.
Fabien is expected to be in training camp when rookies report next week.
BC also signed all five eligible players from this year's CFL Draft including receiver S.J. Haidara, defensive backs Matt McGarva, and Matt Walker along with offensive linemen Matthew Albright and Cameron Thorn.
"I am very pleased to have all six of these players under contract," Lions VP of football operations and GM Wally Buono said in a team statement. "Each has an opportunity to make an impact on our club in years to come and the first step is just days away."
