2 things going on. One Oppo doesn't seem to have understood the nature of yr query. You have to use hdmi 2 or analog for dsd. The monitor/tv should be off or disconnected. That's it. Don't update firmware unless u have good reason (hint: you don't). Per media servers u need to tell us yr platform. On Mac playback and isedora work great. Dlna isn't great for dts master hd tho it can work. U may need to change settings in Oppo for lpcm as opposed to bitstream. Sometimes corrects playback probs. finally ps3 media server works on all platforms and fills yr needs. You need to turn off transcoding in each to preserve bit perfection. The Yamaha should be great. Good reviews. Prefer it to most commercial AVRs. Mine was a revelation after a mid range pioneer. That said those elites look very nice but out of my $$$$.

Hi folks,
thank you tese many ideas.
But I had decide to sent back the DENON and I´m waiting for YAMAHA 1020 (in black).
It´s a the moment not avalaible....
And I got an answer from OPPO, but it was only to upgrade the FW.
" ...It is impossible to deliver such an advanced product as the OPPO players with all connection scenarios tested, we would have to have all connection variations out there available so you understand that would be impossible. This is the reason for the easy and very useful firmware update system on the player, we also like to give the customer new features and possibilities in future upgrades as we do.We also have to apply to all the rule changes the movie companies issues or we will loose our licenses to produce BD players. ..."
But he didn´t say, what the cosequences are (no ISO, may be Cinavia?).
Yes, I´ve an old TV without HDMI but with DVI (no idea, wether it can HDCP or not, I think more "not")
I´couldn´t find an option in DENON-HDMI-Inputsettings-menu with "Auto".....
A further problem was my mediaclient.
I´v a "Xtreamer Sidewinder (MK1)", it´s HDMI-Output-setting has the option "DTS* ..." Or "Multichannel for FLAC..",
but not both.
Does anybody have a good recomandation for a bette mediaplayer?
It should both, multicahnnel-FLAC AND DTS-HD (for films).
Thanks,
razi--
